Final Outcomes

We are nearing the end of the 2nd. millennium and have to ponder about the changes in the last 1000 years for better or for worse.

Are we different in anything at all?
The human thinking, the response to problems, the manner of resolution of differences, the feeling towards other peoples and families, the concept of right and wrong, the basic human values and most importantly the manner of solving the problems of the human race in this day and age of gigantic media coverage.

Issues that change our lives

Can we even start to list the issues facing us and our self-centered opinion that we are a better society today than before and the notion that we are highly tolerant and enlightened in our stand on major issues and that we react in the most rational manner.
Why is there no balance in our decisions to run our affairs?
Why do we tolerate injustices as long as we are convinced by media and clever people that it has to exist? Is there any reason for our acceptance of abuse as long as it guarantees our luxuries and vain glory?
Have we really changed for the better in the last 1000 years or for that matter in the last 100 years? Is technology at the level of advancement it is projected to be?
What are the benefits of billion dollar investments when we cannot live with peace and tranquility?
Is the higher average age for elders a boon or a misery with strange debilitating diseases increasing at a staggering rate in the senior citizens?
Why do we have to exploit the emotions to increase our profits?
What is being destroyed on earth forever for our temporary gains in natural wealth and resources? Are we thinking about it or do we have the time for it?
If we decide on a fair manner to correct will the powerful and greedy allow that to be implemented?
Why have we replaced despotic kings by 'elected officials' who are breaking promises, playing with life and death matters and cheating to rule over us?
Why are elections won by dirty politics and with lots of money and tricks interlaced with deals to get in power as an obsession?
Why do we reward the voilent for their crimes at national and international levels?
Why force is the ultimate weapon used by nations, administrations and individuals to achieve their goals?

Are we better or worse than a 100 or 1000 years ago?

Will we accept the truth and change our efforts?
Is there any hope for a solution to the injustices on a daily basis at all levels of the human spectrum?
Will we understand the poor, deprived and the unfortunate?
Will we ignore the problems we cause and continue the way we are?
Do we really love the our children and the earth we live upon?
Will the evil be eradicated or accepted more and more as a way of life?
Will the human race ever learn the wise ways of the earlier times?
Do we need to become irresponsible for our behaviour as long as we can implement it and force it through the policing agencies?
Will we ever enjoy being good and respectable and have feeling for the needs of others or will we impose the will of the powerful and majority on the minority and force them to follow what we think to be right by force or harassment?
Do we have the time for thinking and answering this honestly?
Do we need to answer this or are we the giants with brutal force to be accepted as we are by everyone who wants to live on this planet or elsewhere?
